Leaving the city, we take the N2 Highway over the Sir Lowry’s Mountain Pass to the most southern tip of the African continent. Cape Agulhas (Cabo das Agulhas meaning “Cape of Needles”) based in the Western Cape, South Africa, of where the official dividing line between the Indian and the Atlantic oceans can be found.

Pick-up time: 08:00am

Return drop off time: 17:30pm

Highlights of the day:

  • Taking the N2 Highway and over Sir Lowry’s Mountain Pass
  • Coffee & Cheese Cake stop in Napier
  • Driving through Struisbaai and visiting the most southern point of Africa, Cape Agulhas
  • Climbing 72 steps up to a 160 year old light house(optional)
  • On return we drive through Stanford, De Kelders and to enjoy an optional lunch in Hermanus
  • Land based whale spotting can be done in Hermanus (July to November)
  • On return we drive back to Cape Town via Clarens Drive past Betty’s Bay
  • Return drop off back at your accommodation in Cape Town
